Lincs & SE Yorks reunion, 15th July 2017
The Lincolnshire and South East Yorkshire branch reunion was held in the summer on Saturday 15th July 2017 at the home of Maureen Mollett in Wootton. On a glorious sunny day Liz Watkinson welcomed everyone and thanked Maureen for her hospitality. The HHOGA Chairman, Sue Rankin, lit the Lamp outside and we all said the Flame Prayer. Sue brought us up to date with HHOGA news and said she hoped to see people again in York at the 85th Annual Reunion in October. There was also an opportunity to buy the final edition of the Javelin.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch, all prepared by Maureen in her lovely home. Maureen made us so welcome, including showing us round her beautiful garden. Unfortunately, there wasn't room for us all to sit in the summerhouse at once!
There were 23 people present, 13 had declined the invitation and 6 had not replied.
Present were: Maureen Mollett (Topping), Jo Needler, Liz Watkinson (Riggall), Rachel Webster (Greensit), Chris Ashton (Wardell), Sue Rankin (Lindup), Barbara Pilkington (Durdy), Maxine Moss, Alison, Vicki Halmshaw (Wardell), Jill Fisher (Finch), Sarah Chambers ,Margaret Beard (Jefferson), Ros Moss (Proudley), Monica Hind (Proudley), Marie Gibson (Rickells), Eileen White (Barker), Hilary Mayman (Goodwin), Carol Drury (Durdy), Christine Wood (Finch), Carol Rowbottom, Annabelle Herring (Rowbottom), Ruth Stubley (Faulding), Barbara Halmshaw (Mollet).
